I got MERLOT as a bonus in 2001, and after two years, the poor little thing
doesn't look much different from when I unpacked the box from Schreiner's.
There has been hardly any increase, and I had one short stalk this year with
maybe three flowers on it, including a terminal bud that never opened. I
loved the flowers I did have, though, so I moved her to a different place
(farther away from my fence...maybe she didn't want to be in the back row!)
and I hope she does better there.
