I have to vote my ballot according to performance in my garden and those
nearby. I do not vote for pictures or performance in Halifax. The pictures
do
show these flowers to be breathtaking, but I just cannot get them to perform
for me. I wish I could have given them a better report.

I agree with your logic, Walter. Too many people vote for a lovely flower,
even if it will never grow for them. So, we get a lot of weak-growing
medal-winners. Yaquina Blue has a decent reputation around here, but never
did well for me. Jazz Me Blue grows very well, but doesn't bloom very much.
Sea Power is new for me (one short stalk the first year), much too early to
judge. It has a good reputation locally.
I'd like to see Ghio's EPICENTER move up the charts. A prolific bloomer and
increaser with a bold pattern and color. Also a proven parent. Only negative
here is somewhat spindly stalks.
