CULT: STARSHIP ENTERPRISE

I planted STARSHIP ENTERPRISE about an hour ago (late Schreiners' order
followed by a week of cool damp weather combined with my being lazy caused
me to be late with everything) and while I can't find my 2003 catalog, the
2002 description doesn't say anything about its being a poor grower. I sure
hope it isn't!
I don't grow it, but I have seen it in the last 3 nationals, and while the flower is startling, only in one planting did it show even a barely moderate growth pattern. With on or two exceptions everyone that I know who is growing it has said it is a poor grower. When introducing it, Schreiner's did say it was not a strong grower.

I know a commercial grower (large) that said they bought 3 pieces of it two years ago and have barely one rz left now.
