Looking at all the irises in the Schreiner catalog that were introduced
in 2000 & 2001, the following won an HM two years after introduction:
2000
GHOST TRAIN - new here last year, didn't bloom, but is alive
MILLENIUM SUNRISE
SAVANNAH SUNSET
TOKATEE FALLS
2001
ABOVE THE CLOUDS
FULL IMPACT
MIDNIGHT MAJESTY
PLUM FUN
WILLAMETTE MIST
Some of these are too recent/expensive for experimenting, but several
aren't too bad - PLUM FUN, FULL IMPACT, SAVANNAH SUNSET, MILLENIUM
SUNRISE, TOKATEE FALLS. I think these are all pretty much line bred, so
not very interesting scrambled genes for breeding, but I haven't
actually looked at all the pedigrees yet.
Anybody tried these?
