Mike, I'm moving back to the country, yet expect both squirrel damage and 
cricket damage to be down.  I've also given up on bird feeders since the 
squirrels destroyed two perfectly good feeders.  They cut the supporting cord on one 
and chewed up the wood on the other. Yet my primary complaint here is excessive 
mankind.  71 new apartment units are being built on top of me. Can you 
imagine such an audience for all garden activities?

Mice will probably be a problem on my new space since much of the natural 
habitat has recently been removed.  Maybe my two big guys (cats) can keep them in 
check.  Give them some much needed exercise!
