They seem to do well,  I guess  that shade is what is keeping the bad heat off of them.   My spuria do fine except the aphids were horrid this last spring.  Thick and black in every nook and cranny on the stem.  I think it's because I have them in places that may get morning and early afternoon sun and shade in the late afternoon.  And
