If a variety does not bloom for me within two years, it is gone...I won't
spend any more time or energy on it...especially if it is a new variety. I am
not going to coddle it, move it or whatever. I would much rather use the
space for something that behaves as it should and blooms!
I consider it a major flaw when there is no other reason for an iris in my
garden to bloom within two years time. It gets trashed, for there is no way
to verify it actually is the variety I planted.

I feel sort of like that, Laurie. I have some rhizomes here that haven't
ever bloomed and I won't give up on them, AND I have not had had
Immortality
rebloom yet. I planted her in 2002. I *deifnitely* feel like there's
something wrong with me or my garden! <G>
