REB: HYB: Renown - umbrata?

[photo posted] RENOWN is winning me over, in spite of having lied to me
about being so pod fertile this spring (most pods were empty). It tried
to bloom off and on this summer. Buds couldn't take the heat -
dissolved in rotting goo.

It probably doesn't show very well in this photo, but the fall has some
definite blue/purple color on the upper surface. The back of the petal
is yellow.

I haven't had the heart to scrape the surface to see how deep the purple
pigment goes.

Not many RENOWN offspring in the online database - anybody know if it
passes on blue/purple pigments in the surface layer of the falls?
