Janet, they have to survive outside. Sometimes they get a bit of protection
from a building but now usually. I say "they" because there are others.
I've moved Edith to the side of an open carport. The thought being that I may
water it more IF I see it more regularly.
Years ago, when I had more space I brought potted irises in, but now I have
less space and cats that chew foliage.
