Hi Anner,

I went to both of those conventions.  As I recall, the irises did quite well 
at Hunstville.  I don't remember many of the varieties, but was impressed with 
the MTB AACHEN ELF and our BB BROWNBERRY which was mislabeled in one garden.  
Rosabelle Van Valkenburg had a nice display of Siberian irises in her garden. 
 Iris tectorum grew like a weed in most of the gardens.

What I remember most about Atlanta was being first to get to the enameled 
iris earrings in the boutique.  Also, going to the Underground.  I did get to see 
a number of Louisiana irises on the edge of a lake.  Since Louisianas don't 
grow too well in northern Ohio, I was interested in them.  I recall large beds 
of TB irises at the same location, but not the names.
