Re: CULT: Fungal Leaf Spot

Thanks Anner!

Any and all opinions are welcome. I've been haunting the Iris Talk Archives all summer and from everything I've read, I'm assuming my irises have fungal leaf spot. But since the disease hasn't responded to any of the fungicides I've used so far, it made me wonder if maybe I'm fighting bacterial leaf spot instead. We had a very wet early spring followed by a severe drought and then more heavy rains about a month ago. It was after the late summer rains that this began to show up in earnest. Though there were traces of the spots during the drought, the leaf tips did not begin to turn brown until after the rains resumed. The past three years have produced the same weather conditions and the same damage to the iris leaves. Here are some photos of typical damage:

If you are fighting some crud up there tell us what it looks like and maybe
we can summon forth an impeachable opinion for you.
