It's where I live. It's where Barry Blyth's nursery is situated. It's where the irises are starting to bloom. To be precise, the SDB's AWAKE, BEING BUSY, MAKING EYES, ZOWIE, TARHEEL ELF, RINGER, MURMUR, and my MURMUR X BEING BUSY seedling for the second year.First of all what is OZ?
I also have I. schachtii and I. attica (pale yellow) still blooming. They have usually finished by the time the others start. I lutescens has long past blooming. I dabbed a bit of attica pollen on schachtii, and on AWAKE. I wonder will I get any seeds?
I should have time to take and post some photos this year. Last year's iris season was almost a complete write off for me, with the house being pulled apart and rebuilt, heavy rains coming in as soon as the roof was taken off, workmen destrying asd much of my garden as they could possibly make look like ....er..... an "accident". Grrr.
Cheers, Jan Clark (a dinky di Ozzie.)
