HYB no more TB X TB

 Hello everyone

I really must enjoy NOW with the TB X TB seedlings because it is over for
me.
No more TB X TB crosses!

1st, they take too much room, and i'd rather have 500 sdb, or 350 ib than 200
tb in each bed!
2nd, they need lots of food to achieve 15 buds per stalk, (which seems to be
the minimun nowdays to be taken seriously with TBs...) , and with the humidity
here, food means rot!
3rd, Blyth, Keppel, Tasco, Ghio, Black and co...,( sorry Betty, i cannot name
everyone here...) have reached such a level that is hard to compete with,
unless i come up with sth new, and i'd rather do that with smaller ones.

When i look at my crosses, i only really get excited by the ones that might
NOT reach the fatidic 28 inches, but i also don't fancy the SDB that are too
small..
So, i must stick to tall SDB, IBs and BBs. There is still a lot to be done
there, especially with the new RE tetra MTBs that can mix with the sdb, the
ib, the bb and the tb.

We've got Dolce, whose cute smaller flowers give a total different look to
the plant, but it's a TB.
I want to go in this direction.
They are not many that have a bit of Abridged version, Northern Jewel or
Apricot drops in their genes, and i intend to add Elegant Lass, Rave review,
Aglow again to the list.
I really love these dainty smaller flowers, on thinner stalks.
They will become the rage one day: they are totally in proportion, scale wise,
to fit SMALLER gardens.

If you are stuck with a big bunch of an enormous TB, it makes a small garden
look suddenly minuscule;
with a big bunch of a smaller iris, the smaller garden keeps its proportions;
with alpines around, the trick is done, the illusion of space is achieved.

That's why i will give away the seeds i've got from TB X TB crosses to anyone
who wants them.

i will
