HYB: A simple experiment

Hey gang,

I've got four little green sprouts from 08 seeds... woohoo.

This
is a very signifigant accomplishment, because it is the first time that my
first seed to germinate has reached "pop-tart" stage.

I suspected that soil
moisture was the culprit, so this year I've been giving each sprout only 8cc
of water roughly every other day.  It was the first two days, then every other
day... I think... I didn't write it down, but the soil was visibly dry in my
communion cup pots.

In addition to watering the germinants with 8cc, I also
only used 10 cc on each first paper towel for the burritoes.  I am in the
process of changing out the soiled paper towels, and each 2nd (new) paper
towel is getting the 8cc as well.
