Linda -- Thanks for the info. During my hospitalization following knees replacement last fall, I rented an Ipad to keep in touch with folks. I'm no tekkie, but it worked just fine. Maybe you could suggest that to Betty's daughter if you're in touch. -- Griff

As her daughter Sherri says, to all Betty's friends who have been
wondering where she disappeared to, Betty says to let you all know she's
not been ignoring anybody on purpose..:)  She's been in the hospital
since last week.  She's been having problems with her back for years and
last week she ended up taking a bad spill that sent her to the ER. They
discovered that a degenerated disc in her back was pressing on her
sciatic nerve and she had lost almost 100% use of her right leg (which
caused her fall). They did surgery on Friday and it looks like she's
going to have a couple weeks of physical therapy ahead of her, both in
and outpatient.
