Oh yes, I meant to say about the Pentax K1000's: My husband prefers the
manual cameras. When I bought him the second camera, I originally got him
one with a lot of the automatic features. He took it back. He said they
didn't have the degree of control that he liked, even in manual mode.
Disclaimer: He is not a professional photographer and has not submitted any
photos for publication, just a moderately serious amateur. On our trip last
August to the UK, he shot 19 rolls of Fuji film (over 525 pictures) and
about 8 hours of videotape.
