SEPTEMBER BUTTERCUP opened its first bloom yesterday (Sun 9/29). So far
the clump has 2 bloomstalks. This older variety is a little doggy and
definitely blooms too tall for its registered BB class, but is a blooming
son-of-a-gun in the fall. (It has never bloomed in the spring for me.)
BROTHER CARL is getting ready to bloom.

was the sight of several fierce Civil War battles, including the Battle of
Spotsylvania Court House, Battle of Wilderness, and Battle of
