Iris in Australia

Hi,
         the first of the new seasons blooms came out in my garden this 
weekend, an Iris japonica (for the first time) and some dwarves (Cream Cake, 
Impish, and a couple of others who've lost their tags). This is the second 
year in for the dwarves and they are looking really good. Its raining here 
for the third day in a row- too wet to mow the lawn, but the snails love it, 
I was lucky to see the blooms before they entered the food chain,
