My sweetie has given me the following... to my great delight
A pile of rocks (anniversary)
A truckload of composted manure (ditto)
10 railroad ties (birthday)
A Mantis tiller (Bastille Day)
A selection of beneficial insects (egg casings) (Christmas)
I also love to receive good gardening tools... there's nothing like a well
balanced, well made shovel to make a girl's heart race. Also, those claws
are wonderful, Felco pruners, japanese pruning saw.... and a gift certificate
for almost anywhere.
Things I would prefer NOT to receive..... 'cute' garden ornaments, a flat of
petunias... that's about it!
