Re: Gifts for gardeners

Best gifts for gardeners:  (1)gift certificates at their favorite 
nurseries/growers. (2)Checks designated for _____ that you keep 
saying you'd like to buy.  For iris growers, we all know what that 
something will be.  Some of my family say things like, "But that 
doesn't seem much like a gift."  I reply that if it seems like a 
great gift to the one who receives it, it is a great gift whether the 
giver thinks so or not.  Pleasure of the receiver is the return gift 
and pleasure to the one who gives.
