AMY!! if you're going to spell it right, it's FER SHER!! sometimes fer shure,
otherwise it would be for shore..
how do you say roof?
Aha! You've picked up Carolyn's spelling of "for shure" :-)
Iris content... hmmm... Oh yes, someone was asking why I am fertilizing
my iris now. They grow through the winter here and bloom in late winter
/ early spring, plus they have plenty of time to bloom / rebloom this
fall if they have a mind to.
Darn -- didn't get to say AMY wrote that up there!!
Just want to tell you that I have a stalk of something ready to bloom
out there. It's too cold at night, fer sher, but if it warms up during the
day, it just might. It's in a clump of ORBITER, but I can't believe that
is what it is.. could Immortality have moved four feet???
It's not dark enough for it to be ORBITER.....
last year Immortality tried to send up a bloomstalk, but snow beat it to
the ground when it was about 6 inches high. This is a good 24 to 28 inches
tall....
Carolyn Schaffner in Buffalo NY, where the sun shone for a good part of the
day, and I got to clean up the iris a bit.
