Stephanie, Last week we applied the nematodes from Gardens Alive to the
grass.
Iris borers have not been a problem for me but of course I don't want them to
be
either. Perhaps they are not prevalent in sandy soil.
We have found Weed and Feed and N'Lite Fertilizer is great for our lawn. I
find
Gardens Alive in North Carolina a very good company to deal with. They
usually
include some freebies as well, such as samples of Bulbs Alive and House Plant
fertilizer. As yet I don't know if they have a Fax or E-mail address.
Claire 235, Isle of Palms, S.C. zone 8 USA, and yes we do have many, many
palm trees. I prefer the native live oaks, cedars, and wax myrtles though.
I
consider myself very blessed to live on such a beautiful island.
