P.S. For those of you who are interested in the origins of iris cultivar
names, I named my rebloomer VIOLET MUSIC (Mahan 91) because it was a cross of
Dr. Zurbrigg/s VIOLET MIRACLE X VICTORIA FALLS, and Dr Zurbrigg was a music
professor at Radford Univ. for many years. So "music" seemed apt. However,
when I think of "violet music" I think of the French "musical
Impressionists," e.g. DeBussy, Faure, and I don't think these are Lloyd's
favorites.
