Gunnar -- could you examine the base of the leaves of the white/purple iris
and see if there is any purple color just where the leaves join the
rhizome? I
t there is a purple stain

Mike, what would that purple color where the leaves join the rhizome indicate?
Is Gunnar to look ofr a STAIN, which might be drips or something from the
bloom, or is it a definite color in the leaf?
