BETTY FRANCES (Mahan 89) is a tall bearded, blooms over a long period from
"E" to "L", is very pale violet, with flowers that have fluting but no big
ruffles and lace. It grows like a weed just about everywhere, and produces
lots of stalks and flowers. It is listed in a number of catalogues. One
that I know it is listed is Mountain View Iris Gardens, 6307 Irwin Ave,
Lawton, OK 73505 (Catalog $2.00). In Canada it is listed by Chuck Chapman
Iris, 11 Harts Lane, Guelph, Ontario N1L lBl. Cheers, Clarence Mahan in VA
