carolyn - you don't need a lot - maybe a cup or 2 for the barrel...
BTW - I am using Charcoal Briquettes in the "experiment" at a neighbors
house. I should have mentioned to crush them up first - sorry. Both
types will work, but remember - if you use the "fire" kind, get the plain
ones without the starter added. I use Kingsford brand.
BTW - the "experiment" is growing Japanese in an old claw foot bathtub.
Bloomed well this year.
