It seems that these are/could be big, high shrubs -- no they are low
shrubs - the Dogwoods only need to be sprayed up to 5 feet above the
ground. ( I usually only go 3-4 feet.) Of course I do this all on a calm
morning before things stir...
what sort of machinery do you use for spraying?? A hose end sprayer with
controlled spray - I get in close to minimize the spray.....

unless it is Necessary period. Spraying for borers might be the only
exception - but even then - If i don't need to in the summer - I don't.
A healthy garden will take care of itself..... now I know someone will
write to dispute this...but at least a healthy garden is better able to.
