Re: your signature

Hi, this is going to come to you with the second half first, but I think it
will make sense. Even tho' I've done this before and it worked, I cn't seem
to get it to do what I want it to, today!

here goes:
 too short, don't bother!
**
All of the new babies and replants are
looking pretty good. (Nobody has turned up their toes and died yet.) With
the late hot spells we get down here and the lack of rainfall it is not
always easy to get my new plants off to a good start.
***
I sent some IB's to a person in TX -- haven't heard from him. They were
well cured. I thought they should be ready to soak up water.. I don't know
if I did that right. I suggested they be put into pots to control the water
and then put into the soil as roots develop.
***
 We were sure hoping
that Fran or Hortense would send some of that moisture this way. I''m sorry
for everyone that got hurt but envious of the rain. Last year at this time
we got 8" (1/2 of our yearly rainfall) in 36 hours and nearly floated down to

any idea what we would do with the kind of rain that
Fran dropped.
***
We got quite a bit, maybe 4 inches??? I don't know, but we shure needed it
and I suppose we need this we will be getting... it's humid, very humid,
so that the bread molds quickly and things smell musty...

AND NOW THE FIRST PART
Today I learned how to quote. Wow, this is getting better and better.
***
Fun and more fun! Can you save, yet? I can pull down this little space like
a notepad, compose, copy it back onto the mail and away I go!
But this is free!! If you don't count the blood they extract at work.
**
Just came in from weed-eating and mowing around all of the iris beds. Strike
that. We got all of the beds mowed around but only 1/3 of them weed-eated.
Now all we have to do is finish weed-eating and then start the really fun
part. WEEDING!! Seems like a never ending battle.
****
It's too wet here to weed!! We had half a day of sun and relative humidity of
110% yesterday and more rain predicted for each day this week. It's shrub
planting weather! (gotta get my hydrangea in!)
***
My one concern is my lack of rebloom.
***
this is never my concern -- season's too short, don't bother!
**

THE END!
