Someone has asked for a list of older irises having merit / importance  to own
..

HIPS has been retrieving iris source data for over 7 years..    By extrapolating
data -  it is possible to determine those  iris varieties mostly grown by a
large number of  HIPS members. 
 Can this also imply the most popular?     If this be the case - here is a list
of the "Most popular" ?
