Thanks for your kind words re my long time associaation with SIGNA. It was
indeed a pet project that I really did want to see fly - and it really did
with the help of a very small list of dedicated others.
I did not actually know that Ruby hhad died but thought it must be as my
last letters were not answered or returned. The last one from her was Mar.
14, 1995, a heart wrenching one as she was about to enter hospital for a
very uncertain operation and I assumed it must haave been fatal. Her brother
John never wrote me and I know he too was near the end. I have a file of
letters and my replies over an inch thick aand the last three years on
computer file. I still have I. nelsonii (both the red and yellow forms) that
she gave me on the occasion when we stayed overnight there (in our travel
trailer). Since you did not add a year date to the time of her death I
assume you must have meant June 1996? Surely it must have been 1995? Anyway,
thanks for the info - I miss her letters.
