FRAN gave us full blast! We got electricity and thus water only  to-day at
eleven a.m. It was pretty primitive for those five days!  Only one tree down
on our property, and a smallish one.  I hear that Durham made the National
News for two days, but  we had no power, so could not check it out.  Our
property lies high so the irises are mostly OK. Erwinia has nailed down a
few, for they were standing in water a couple of days.  Lloyd.
