Dennis Stoneburner is going to bring a stack of pickles and brownies to
the Western New York Iris Society's meeting on Saturday, September 28, 1996,
at 1 PM to be held at the Botanical Gardens in Lackawanna, NY in the meeting
room. He will talk about Louisana Iris Culture.
This is a unique experience for judges and apprentices in our part of the
Nation. Already some folks grow Louisanas, and a bloomstalk or two might
be on the Show Tables in the spring. I've seen one or two lately, but not
many. This is an opportunity to learn to grow them and to introduce them
to the people in our geographic area.
If you are a judge, an apprentice, or friend of a judge or apprentice, or
an iris grower interested in expanding your horizons, or at least wanting
that pickle recipe, please spread the word and attend!! You do not need to
be a judge or apprentice. Judges' Training sessions guarantee accurate and
thorough information for all!!
