Chris comments:
I think that the reason for this is that a lot of our Iris List
subscribers live in the area of United States that has been extremely
hard hit by Hurricane Fran. There has been a tremendous amount of damage
all along the coast of the Carolinas and Virginia up to Washington DC.
Also reports of much flash flooding, trees down and associated power
outages inland in those states.
I really hope everyone is okay and I'm sure we will hear from them when
things start to return to normal. 
We are now receiving heavy thunderstorms here where I live as remnants
of Hurricane Fran passes through our area today.
