contrite in Utah's Dixie

If I offended anyone with my "Where have all the flowers gone?" i certainly
didn't mean to.  I wasn't being blase.  If I had seen a news report in the
last three days I would have known about Fran and never written that
particular phrase.  Unfortunatly I have had all of my grandchildren here all
week and
that meant no time for Tv or the paper.
        I am sorry for your misfortune and will remember you in my prayers.
Hopefully you all got through it alive and unhurt.  It must be very
difficult to be at the mercy of such an uncontrollable monster.
        If I could I'd take a lot the rain though.  We are in the midst of a
terrible draught.  It has been so long without water that when anyone uses the
word "rain" someone says, "What's that?  Seems like I remember that
happening a few years ago."
        Anyway I am sorry.  It is not my intention to hurt anyone.
