Gunnar, it sounds like your AJAX is the same as ours...I used generic term
powdered bathtub cleaner because I did not know what brand names were on the
market in Sweden. But I think it would work just fine on irises. An
alternative that someone else mentioned and that I actually use often, is to
clean the rhizomes and then soak them in a 15% bleach solution for 5 minutes
or so, let dry and plant. I could not garden without bleach! Clarence Mahan
