Annette, you made my day! BETTY FRANCES was my first TB introduction, and is
named for my sister who was killed when hit by a speeding automobile the year
before I named the iris for her. It is fragrant, and a wonderful grower.
Never heard of anyone losing it from rot either! It never got any higher
award than an HM...it isn't highly ruffled, or laced, or big and fat, or
fancy...just a marvelous grower and producer of bloom stalks.
