That would probably equate to USDA Zone 8, possibly even 9. There are a lot of
flaws with the Zones because they are based on average annual temps and don't take a
thousand other things into account. Many climates -- sounds like yours might be one
of them -- fall into an "other" category.
Sounds like I'm going to have to move there and investigate; it may take me the rest
of my life... ;-)
