Hi Jan,
AMERICAN PATRIOT is from an IB cross, I am not too sure of the parentage off
the top of my head but I do know that EYEBRIGHT is the sdb back there
somewhere. So this four falled thing is from a couple of generations of
fertile IBs. The pod had 37seeds with 33 seedlings maturing many have
rebloomed. Many different colors have come out of the cross with some
broken color seedlings. AMERICAN PATRIOT is very fertile with many "bee
pods" every year. Sometimes it will throw broken colored falls. Does
anyone grow AP out there? I am curious as to how it does elsewhere. Very
vivid IB.
Mike
