Well, I received my order from ASI and received one called
WERCKMEISTER'S CLONE 2. The truth is I can't find either
my order form nor the ASI catalog and can't remember this
one. Can anyone give me more info?
One of these days I'm going to be lost indefinitely when the
stacks of iris catalogs, books, printouts etc collapses. It
will be days before anyone discovers me under the heap of
iris print. In fact, this home is pretty much an iris disaster
area at the moment. Been digging and relocating and mailing
and sacking for local delivery. Still much to go. The current
result consists of irises all washed up and labeled and spread
out on newspapers here in the house. I may get evicted for
all this. Unfortunately, I have only done a portion of the intended
removal, relocation, soil rejuvenation and a score of other re-
whatevers before I'm done. I get pretty funny looks as I trail
around through the newspapers. I am stoically ignoring them
as I am sure the irises will find there way to their new home in
the garden. Too bad those catalogs aren't planted, because
then I'd know where to look. Sooner or later it is sure to turn
up, along with the order. In the meantime, I'd like to know a
bit about this rhizome. I tend to do a bit of segregating when
planting the aril family and would like it to have the best chance
of survival.
