OT: George & Margaret Sutton

I just wanted to crow for a minute about the fine folks that will be touching 
down in Buffalo later on today - none other than Big George and Margaret 
Sutton of the left coast, USA.

Our club invited George last year - but he was unable to accept.  Wasn't I 
astonished when he called me up over the winter and said that he would give 
us first refusal for THIS year!  

For those who unhappily do not receive the Green Thumber catalog, George 
Sutton is responsible for many of the space agers hitting the market these 
days, as well as rebloomers.  He is also as generous of his time as he is 
with his irises - he has served as RVP rep to the AIS Board, Youth Chair, RVP 
and yadda yadda.  

And he's just a fine human being as well.

A full report - with bells, whistles, 3-part harmony and so on will occur 
after I've released George and Margaret to Canada later this weekend....
