I like to recycle stuff like plastic 2 liter bottles, milk jugs, plastic
containers that fruits & mushrooms come packaged in from the grocery store,
etc. The problem is these tend to be too small and the soil dries out
fast. But if I'm on top of things and keep everything well watered, it
works like a charm!
