Dennis, my experience with I miss seedlings is roughly the same ie the
seedlings in sunlight (6+ hours) faded back while the ones in shade or
about 2 hours of sun/day are still green. They are not however large
plants. Be patient and wait for the seedlings in sunlight to show next
year. I had an I miss flower this year which the seeds were installed 2
years ago. They were in a bed where they were getting about 6 hours of
sun per day so something may turn up with the died back ones. The ones
that flowered this year had their leaves die back and tiny little
new fans(3 of them) appear.
