The various forms of I. missouriensis that I acquired from SIGNA seem to
grow best in light shade. When in full sun (7+ hrs of direct sunlight per
day) they germinated just fine but soon withered despite being kept well
watered. When I moved the same container under a tree (~2 hrs of direct
sunlight per day) they have continued to germinate but have not withered.
Another container of seeds which has only ever received 2~3 hrs. direct sun
per day has produced large & healthy plants.
I just thought I'd pass along these general observations. I'm curious to
know if others have had similar results with this species?
