Both of these should do fine treated as regular TBs.  ES is a halfbred.  AR
is a quarterbred.  I got AR last year and it bloomed fine in Spring and has
increased nicely.

I think it is best to leave them alone and let the vagaries of your weather
dictate when they receive water.  It's been dry as a bone in Cincinnati for
the past month.  The last 2 years I watered in newly planted rhizomes and
many rotted terribly.  So I learned my lesson and I'm not going to water
the new rhizomes this year.  I planted them immediately, but haven't
watered them at all.  They're dormant, but at least they are alive!

That's my 2 cents anyway.....
