Dennis, Just be patient until next year and see whether the seedlings
come up again. The Mature I miss plants tend to die back after flowering
and then reappear the next year which is what mine are doing. My
original seedlings were in a damp bed and still died back but reappeared
the next year. I also am grateful to Carryl for the info on I miss out
in the fields. I knew I miss is supposed to be an indicator of water in
the soil but thought it might also indicate underground water.
