Eriobotrya "Coppertone"

could not resist adding something more. At La Landriana we grow E. coppertone,
with outstanding reddish new foliage and beautiful pink flowers. Looks like a
bigger scaled Raphiolepis indica, in general appearance. I do not
know wether it is a variety of E. deflexa, or a cross of some sort. It is a
beautiful plant, woth growing. Eryobotrya, BTW, means cotton grape (from ancient
greek), and I suppose this is due to the hairy surface of the fruits.
