speaking this weekend in Mendocino

Hi folks -

This is a local announcement - I've been asked by some folks on this group
to post this information (they twisted my arm, really!)

I will be speaking at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Garden on this Saturday
(4/14) at 10am. It will entail a slide show of our trip to Italy & France
in October 2000 for the MGS Annual General Meeting in Palermo, Sicily. I
will be using these slides as talking points for a general discussion of
what a mediterranean climate is and why we should care about it. This talk
will be in the meeting hall adjacent to the garden; the fee is $7 ($5 for
MCBG members). For more information about the MCBG, see their website:
http://www.gardenbythesea.org/

Those of you who would like more information about the MGS Annual General
Meeting should read Katherine Greenberg's article in our current
newsletter, found at this URL:
http://www.support.net/Medit-Plants/groups/MGS.Calif.Northnl07.html

Looks like the weather will be very nice in Mendocino this weekend, so
we're really looking forward to the trip!
Regards,
Sean O.
