Corfu

I seem to remember someone on the list living (in or near) house on Corfu once owned by garden writer Mirabel Osler. Apologies for forgetting who! - but I thought that person, if still around, might be interested in Emma Tennant's new(-ish) book, A House in Corfu (pub last year), which is about life in the house her parents built in the 60s just along from the Osler house (the Os and Ts were friends, ET's mother being a keen gardener). The book isn't really about gardening, except v. incidentally, but is interesting about the changes in the island in the last 40 years.
