Meterosideros' are wonderful trees, and are clean from what i've seen.
Pretty red flowers in the summer, and nice green grey foliage. I'm not
usually partial to trees with such foliage, but they are an exception.
I've seen them all around a shopping center near Monterey (in Sand City)
and the MacDonald's has a couple of them that arent pruned back like their
brethren in the dividing medians (the ones in the medians would surely be
more tree like if the maintenance crews didnt prune them back into ball
shapes).
