Chamelaucium uncinatum

Don't know if this is the plant you are trying to id but I have it growing in my garden, 2 colors.  It comes in the rose, a lighter shade of same and a white.  The flowers are no more than 1/2" across, small groups of them.  It is used freely by florists.  The shrub gets 4'tall and wider in 2 years.   I am trying to propagate from cuttings as everyone wants it and I have not seen it for sale at any nurseries.  From your original description I gave a brief thought to Gaura siskiyou, not that it matches the description, just a few similarities.  It's such a beautiful plant, the long stems growing much taller than the mound of leaves, arching gracefully with the occasional deep pink 1' blossoms  along the arched stem.  The gaura is easier to find and a nursery in Buellton sells it.  Carolyn in Los Gatos
